A key near-term action in the Downtown Master Plan is to update the Downtown zoning and development standards. The new boundary for Downtown Pasco from the Master Plan has been adopted into the Comprehensive Plan future land use map (FLUM). The zoning and development standards update will address the boundaries of the C-2 Zone, permitted land uses, new zoning districts that are specific to Downtown, street types and standards, frontage types and standards, and related standards such as parking, landscape design, access, and street-level uses.
