Mural Ordinance and
Public Mural Program
Develop an ordinance to authorize murals in Downtown Pasco and potentially other areas of Pasco. The ordinance will address both the public mural program and murals done by private entities. The program will be administered by the City of Pasco and the Arts Commission. The mural ordinance will be consistent with legal parameters and case law related to murals and public art.

Pasco desires to kick start a public mural program through the Arts Commission that will include a solicitation and review process, funding for murals, maintenance, and communications. Initial funding will be used to support 2-3 public murals in Downtown under the new mural ordinance.
