For the Downtown Master Plan to be realized it must be implemented through sustained effort by the City of Pasco, the DPDA, and partnerships with the private sector and in particular local businesses. The Downtown Master Plan is intended to establish an ongoing implementation that capitalizes on local funding and resources, outside grant opportunities, and maximizes local assets such as small businesses that make Downtown a place people want to be. Future updates to the Master Plan will likely result in new strategies and actions that will also need to be implemented and the work to maintain and improve Downtown will continue as new challenges and opportunities arise.
